How exactly does expiry tracking work in daily billing?
Every batch of every medicine has its expiry date recorded at the time of purchase entry. During billing, Shopper Pro automatically selects the batch that expires soonest (FEFO). If a batch is within your configured alert window — say 60 days — it is highlighted at the billing counter. Expired batches are blocked from appearing in billing and moved to a separate expired stock list for distributor return processing.
